asteeeg, yesterday came my first taste of SOH...and i got a mouthful of buffered subjects...geeez, all my required majors were already closed by the time i got to assessment, and shit, the dept's rep wasn't even there to patch things up...ahuhu! so i was stuck inside the ctc complab for more than an hour or so...
hay, i know i can't really blame the regcom for the blunders that happened, but there were instances that really were their responsibility...hay, basta, they could have done better EVEN when the servers were going haywire...

hallo!
ts been a looooong time since i last updated.
tinamad ako. period.
was in boracay last april 7-9, and i enjoyed the beach. haha! got to see cindy kurleto in a green bikini hahaha! god, she looks....*sigh...nahiya nga lang ako kumuha ng pics.
good thing my mom booked us in one of the best hotels there, the Regency, kasi when we went to pagudpod last summer, the place was a freakin' disaster. basta, ok sa regency! sarap ng aircon and foooood!
god, im getting fat..need to run! but it's hot!
had fun tweaking with my camera again hahaha...basta i'll post pics in my multiply once i get to edit them a bit...visit nikolaits.multiply.com ha!

the philo orals results were just posted, and i found out that i got a C+.
dunno if that's good enough, but mukhang hindi e. but i was expecting a C, tho, kaya ok lang :D and my prof gave out a ton of F's like it was freakin' Christmas day.

went to my little sister's ballet recital yesterday at Camp Aguinaldo's AFP Theater.
miriam ballet produced "Peter Pan" this year, and my sis got to dance the role of Wendy. i was SOOOO proud of her [i cried huhuhuhu...a weeettle]. goddamn military police, they didn't want any cameras snooping around...sheesh.
PS: got interviewed for the DVD copy of the recital hahahaha! hope they won't edit me out heehee :P

ok, i have this take home long test for my classical mech, and it's freakin' ridiculous. we have to solve 10 bad ass problems, and we have to contend with a stupid grading system: highest scorer gets an A, lowest is F [regardless of score], and if everyone has the same grade, we get all C's...nlabow mehn.
so my block met yesterday to discuss some of the problems, and even with all of us solving, we ended up discussing only 5 problems, with only 2 problems having answers that are PROBABLY right...sigh...
i'm out...hafta do this test at 7pm...

i intended to cut my electromag class [730am] last friday so i could study for my saturday test. however, i remembered that i had to go to the apostolate areas of my org so i could spread the word that there would be a medical mission the next day. so at 8am, max and i entered the Marytown area [the one at the foot of the miriam overpass].
it was actually my first time to immerse into the area, geographically speaking. i'd usually just end up at the houses near the entrance, or maybe a few more meters afar. but it was different this time. we met one of our kids, vinmark, about 4 years of age, thin and small, but with a big smile. he 'offered' to take us around the area, and lead us to the houses of our other kids. so off we went along dark, narrow alley ways that offered little sunlight since light was being masked by houses that reached up to 3 floors [really!]. the ground was wet too. max and i continued on, passing every house we visited during the org's home visit, reaching places we never set foot on. i couldn't believe what i was seeing back then. it was that, there were sooo much people caramped in such a small place! every small crack and passageway served as a possible living space for a family that could number up to 7 kids.
so at last we reached this sort of junction. you could tell it was a "major intersection" since it was wider than usual. but this was a surprise. coz this junction looked miiiighty familiar to both max and i. this place wasn't Marytown anymore, but the main road of Daan Tubo area, the slum area in front of dela Strada parish, the one beside Blue Fin. so from the area near Mercury, we ended up in the area near the UP entrance...that's like several blocks away i think. so we went deeper still in Daan Tubo, way deeper than before. usually, we'd just stay in area1 of Daan Tubo, but this time, we had to trudge toward area3 coz most of our kids live there, and this was quite far. area3 was different from the rest. we weren't walking on concrete road anymore, but on bare soil. also, lots of tall grass surrounded the area. and lotsa bamboo too. it was like a scene of the countryside...parang probinsiya na...parang hindi na quezon city. tiny "streams" criss-crossed the place, but these carried dark water, polluted with lotsa trash and oily stuff? basta andumi. and a lot of our kids lived there. we even stopped for a cup of coffee and some pandesal at stephanie's house [ung favorite nina agnes and javy]. by now, there were like 5 kids walking with us, mga 'bodyguards' kuno bwehehehe. so we mad our way back towards the entrance of DT. it was already 930am, an hour and a half since we entered Marytown.
grabe, adventure sobra. a very memorable experience that got me into thinking about lotsa things...

i'm here in dela costa hall, manning my org's voting booth...good thing the costa has wi-fi harhar. i'm freakin' bored...but i hafta review for sat's LT. will do that later. promise. talaga!
anyways, had so much fun last night. spent my valentine's with agnes, kate and master jo. had a picnic on the soccer field, ate lotsa junk food and ande's cherry-laced chocos! yum! but not as good as hershey's cherry-filled kisses! asthmatic fun baybeh! we only ate for about an hour since we spent so much time packing things for the matteo ricci move-out [sidenote: wala na kmeng tambayan huhuhuhu...hanggang july pa ata huhuhuhu...ngayon, alam ko na ang nararamdaman ng mga squatter na pinaalis ng wala man lang relocation site....]. we also had to go to shopper's to get some grub...hay. anyways, fun pa rin naman e.
went home, had dinner at sweet inspirations with the family, had a bunch of beers with dad, went home tipsy, couldn't study [dad could be such a BI at times].
had so much fun!
